Thanks to our generous donors, we have reached our fundraising goal for pre-production. With these funds we filmed sample reel footage in October in Warsaw and Tel Aviv and archival research has begun in the U.S., Israel and Poland.

Production began with an interview of Sam Kassow in Warsaw. After attending the opening of the Museum of the History of Polish Jews in Warsaw, we flew to Israel to interview preeminent Holocaust historian Yehuda Bauer and Leilah Holtzman. Holtzman was Rachel Auerbach's secretary from the time Auerbach arrived in Israel in 1950 until the time of her death in 1976.

Our new website launched to help us raise funds and as an information source for the documentary.
